I like the new ceiling on the promenade deck! Looks so much better than the pipes and wires showing..

The pictures brought back nice memories of being there on a former HAL cruise. But with such lovely scenery, why are the open decks devoid of folks taking in the spectacular scenery?

If these photos are from the June 23-30 cruise, there are two reasons there were no passengers on deck: 1 – there was an excursion to the same location earlier the same day, and 2 – this happened during the dinner hour. We had gone on a different shore excursion, so we were very disappointed that we had to interrupt our dinner and skip dessert in order to go on deck to see this scenic spot, and we missed the scenery on the way there. because our seats in the main dining room were not near the windows. There were a lot of good things about the cruise–the ship and food and crew were mostly wonderful–but there were some disappointments, too.
