On August 15, 2012 in Eidfjord, Norway, we had the honor of welcoming the representatives of the port on board to exchange a plaque, since this was the first time the Eurodam visited this wonderful town. In order to reach Eidfjord, we had to sail about 100 miles inland through the fjords. The weather was absolutely spectacular and the guests thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and playful wildlife.
In addition to the plaque that was presented to Captain Darin Bowland, the Captain also received fresh cherries for which the region is famous for. After the ceremony, the representatives toured the ship and were impressed with the elegant look of the Mighty “E”.
