In less than a month, Holland America Line will take delivery of Koningsdam. The ship is being built at Fincantier’s Marghera shipyard in Italy, and with each passing day it looks more and more complete. Toward the end of construction things start to happen very rapidly, where one day a room has no furnishings, and then next carpet is down and art is on the walls!
Ed van Weijen, the ship’s electrical project manager at the yard, sent in more fun photos that show the ship’s progression. Note that some of the photos are a a week or two old, so the rooms will have changed a great deal between then and now. Enjoy!
