This was a great day altogether with one event following the other in good succession. It started off with the Fiordland National Park in New Zealand. Scenic sailing off and on from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. — Dusky Sound, Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound. The weather and scenery were spectacular and like a fairy tale when in Milford Sound.
It also was a formal evening and of course Valentine’s Day. Since we have not had a formal group picture taken to-date with the President’s Club, we planned for a themed get together in the Explorer’s Lounge.
Dinner decorations in the dining room and Pinnacle Grill were elaborately done in Valentine’s colors and symbols, with themed outfits to match. The day concluded first with a show by crowd favorites “Black Tie,” followed by the Valentine’s Ball in the Queens Lounge. A Valentine’s Day not soon to be forgotten.
