On February 23, the Amsterdam held “A Taste of Australia” special themed event on the way to Cairns, Australia. The Lido deck, pool mid-ship and the Lido Restaurant were set for the Grand event with wine barrels, market stalls, wine displays, corks, Australian beer displays, and of course the food buffet that included lots of local fresh fruit from Tasmania such as cherries, Australian grapes, and much more.
Our President and CEO Mr. Stein Kruse hosted the party and was very pleased to meet our Grand World Cruise guests and greet all of the crew. Everyone took lots of pictures at the event. The crew dressed up with aprons and wine ties and the cooks wore aprons decorated with aprons and hats. Enjoy!
