Zaandam’s Plaque Exchange Ceremony at Kobe, Japan

On April 5, ms Zaandam made an inaugural call to the port of Kobe, Japan. Officers from various departments were present for a plaque exchange ceremony with port officials. These ceremonies are held as a token of goodwill between the port and the vessel and are viewed as a very special occasion for all. The plaque we received from the port of Kobe will be displayed proudly on board the Zaandam as a remembrance of our visit and appreciation for the hospitality shown to us by the port city.
