Great video Noel! This is Steve the HalCats Band Leader/piano player…I hope you had as much fun on that voyage as I did!

About to do a cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam for 12 days on the 27th June around the Mediterranean, and after looking at this video, feeling very excited now.

    Great video. Lovely sites.

Thank you Noel, that was a wonderful video. Full of sites I would never have seen otherwise. I loved the music throughout and wondered if you could supply a play list of the pieces you used.

What a wonderful itinerary that HAL put togehter. Such diverse landscapes and people, I’d love to do this cruise one day, but it did look a little cold in Russia, in May even for my Canadian blood..

    Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks Noel. I will never forget this cruise. I need to check to see if anyone posted a video of the first leg from Singapore to Kobe. Thanks also for documenting the storm. Made ship life interesting…

Many thanks everyone. It makes producing these voyages all worthwhile. Look out for the Zaandam 26 day San Diego to Sydney in Oct/Nov through the South Pacific islands.
Steve/Halcats…loved the professional & excellent music from you & the team. Hope your hair has grown back!! and we see you again on another cruise.
The music I selected prior to leaving home & edited it on sea days using a Mac pro. I film for a living professionally but used a new Sony high def.16:9 broadcast camera so that I can use for stock footage. On average I would shoot 30 mins. to edit 1 minute so that is is finaled to 10 mins, the max for youtube. On last years 30 day Rotterdam S./America trip I had to go to parts 1-2.
Apart from the Japanese & Korean folk music ‘Saita Sakuri’ The Russian piece was a famous Russian/Polish ‘Polska Poi’ & the final was from Michael W Smith’s ‘The Last Hallelujah’
