This post was sent to us by Prinsendam’s crew purser, Andrea Cosentino, after the ship called at South Georgia, Antarctica, earlier this month.
South Georgia is a must if you are in Antarctica. It is one of those places that every person should have the chance to see. But it so far away and so difficult to reach that not so many people have the privilege to do so. HAL provided this once-in-a-lifetime experience during its last call to this wild wonder only to the Prinsendam crew.
South Georgia remains one of the places on earth with the greatest concentration of wildlife and the captain, chief officer, shore excursions team and hotel manager put together a couple of tours for the crew and we had a lot people enjoying this unique experience.
