On Oct. 26, Holland America Line held a free-to-attend Alaska Travel Show in Seattle. Hundreds of locals came out to learn and see the best ways to experience this incredible region. From consumers interested in learning more to travel advisors with their clients, everyone on-hand gained insight on why there’s no better option than Holland America Line for an Alaska adventure.
Attendees were immersed in Holland America Line’s award-winning Alaska cruises and Land+Sea Journeys from the moment they walked into the event. Booths from vendor partners showed off their excursions, regional bites were served, virtual reality headsets offered a 360-degree look at The Last Frontier and live-on-stage performances and demonstrations brought Alaska to life. A special appearance by the Seattle Mariners’ “Mariner Moose” mascot provided a fun photo opportunity.
Hands-on activities entertained the crowd, including stations where attendees could pan for a gold nugget and make s’mores. A highlight of the event was an appearance by four-time Iditarod champion Jeff King, who showed off one of his sled dogs, Ziggy, and shared tales of the grueling trail that runs from Anchorage to Nome.
We’re already planning the next Alaska Travel Show, so stay tuned!
