Facebook Fans Share Their 2020 Travel Resolutions

It’s the last day of the year and the last day of the decade! Over the past 10 years, we’ve welcomed Nieuw Statendam, Koningsdam and Nieuw Amsterdam, and we’ve seen the launch of our esteemed Culinary Council, Music Walk and Explorations Central … to name a few of our innovations! But most important, we’ve continued to connect our guests with people from around the world. We’ve immersed our guests in different cultures. We’ve introduced our guests to new flavors, sites and sounds. This is why we travel.

One of the top New Year’s Resolutions people make each year is to travel more, and to welcome the new decade we asked our Facebook fans for their Top Travel Resolutions for 2020. From taking another Holland America Line cruise to more destination-specific aspirations, the goals and dreams for the New Year are something we hope to fulfill for our fans.

TAKE A CRUISE
No surprise, the biggest Travel Resolution among our fans in 2020 is to take a cruise!

“I’d like to sail on each ship in your line at least once. Trip 14 in 10 days.” — Margaret B.

DIFFERENT LOCALES:
From Alaska’s glaciers to the Baltic’s deep history, our fans are looking to explore the world.

“Would love to take another cruise to Alaska/Denali this year. Age and health may keep that from happening but it is the premier cruise choice in our opinion.” — Troy C.

“To do a Viking cruise!” — Marilyn S.

“2020 Jewels of the Baltics.” — Mylene L.

TAKING LONGER CRUISES:
Sometimes, seven days isn’t long enough. Whether it’s combining back-to-back cruises on a Collectors’ Voyage or embarking on a Grand Voyage, Holland America Line has cruises as long as 128 days!

“Testing ourselves to see how 30 days on a cruise ship will be. We have a Collectors’ Voyage booked in August on the Zuiderdam.” — Lon Fountain

Leaving tomorrow for a Southern Caribbean cruise on Koningsdam, our preferred ship. The friendly crew, delicious food and enjoyable destinations keep us coming back. After four transatlantic and European voyages we are setting our sites on transpacific and Asia in the fall and 4Star privileges!

Just got back from my very first Holiday cruise in the Caribbean and already my husband and I are looking into booking or 2020 trip to Alaska. I’m especially happy with Holland America for being so awesome in assisting me with my disabilities needs. Thank you Holland America!
