Chugging Along in Skagway, Alaska

Over 30 of Ryndam’s crew members went on the Yukon Expedition and White Pass Railway tour during our last visit to Skagway, Alaska. Besides seeing great scenery we had fun upholding tradition and expressing ourselves in a friendly fashion to the other trains passing us on the tracks. It was a relaxing tour and a great way to get to know each other better and to say goodbye to Alaska.

On a monumental note: The White Pass and Yukon Route was designated as an International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1994. Our transition voyage will have the Ryndam going through another International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, the Panama Canal.
