Zuiderdam’s Filipino Crew Members Rock the Vote
On October 2, the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted an overseas absentee voter (OAV) registration campaign aboard Zuiderdam while the ship was docked in the city. Forty-five Filipino crew members successfully registered during the ship’s port call. The team from the Philippine consulate was welcomed aboard by Human Resources Manager Myles Williams. Consul General Marciano A. Paynor, Jr., thanked HAL for making the registration drive possible. “It is important that we give every opportunity to our kababayans to take part in shaping the future of our country,” he said. “Registering for OAV will give them the capability to exercise their right to vote and help chart the political future of the Philippines.”

Visited the Caribbean and Panama Canal on the Zuiderdam.
Loved every minute on board. And off too, now that I think about it. The ports of call are fun and informative.
