Veendam’s Call at Ushuaia, Argentina

These pictures were taken during ms Veendam’s first visit to Ushuaia, Argentina, this season. It was very cold and snowing hard so we really faced a tough challenge conducting security screening at the ship’s gangway. Despite the cold weather, the vessel left without any security issues.

    Wow! I better rethink my planning for clothing to take on the Grand South America voyage. Of course….maybe being 3 months away when we arrive n Ushuaia will increase the temperatures some. I hope so!

    Wondering when you were there. We expect to be there mid Feb 2011 aboard the Prinsendam.
