Tiziano Christened by Reverend Hans

Tiziano Christened by Reverend Hans

During our call to Half Moon Cay, our son Tiziano was christened by Rev. Hans Uittenbosch. My wife and I had been thinking of having Tiziano christened, but we wanted to have it done by Rev. Uittenbosch, as we have sailed many times together and he is always very kind and accommodating. We were very lucky that Rev. Uittenbosch and his wife were onboard this cruise and so I asked him if he would like to christen Tiziano. He said he would be delighted and we made the arrangements. The actual christening was a great event. Tiziano will be ending his sailing career after this contract, as he has come to the right age to start going to school. My wife Karen and I have decided to move to Belgium, close to Bruges as of May this year, where Tiziano will go to school.

Marco van Belleghem is Eurodam’s hotel manager.

Thanks for this very nice photo journal. This is such a “HAL moment” for your long-time cruisers like us: we appreciate it that you would share this memorable time. Hoping that Tiziano will remember fondly his early years on HAL ships.

Marco and Karen – wonderful to see how much your son has grown since last spring. I will be watching for Marco’s further updates on your adventurous family with the hope that we will all sail together again on a summer break for him, perhaps in Alaska?

Marco and Karen- We just managed to get the pictures. They are very well taken, Tiziano stood there with all his dignity in a most respectable form supported by the good sights of his parents and the charming smile of Karen. It was a moving moment for him and for us all.I was privileged to have had the honor to conduct this ceremony and we prayed and will continue to pray for you as a family and for Tiziano that he may grow up as a genuine servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and in every way truly function as Christ’s ambassador – 11Corinthians 5:20,21
God has given Tiziano a sharp mind and we are thankful that you asked us to lead this ceremony of our Lord’s favor in displaying his acceptance through HIs sacrifice.
We look forward to that day in a few years that Tiziano will be participating in his first communion.
    – We regtret we missed Karen, but we hope Tiziano will enjoy the Bible stories from the Bible we left.
Is it possible to send the pictures to Trudy’s e-mail: 4Trudyu2@gmail.com ?
Blessings to you all. Hans & Trudy

Will you be landlovers after May? I know Bruges is on the RIver, but no ocean. We are well though my mom is getting more frail at 94. She lives with me and we have an aide during the week. I wish she had the desire to travel but that is gone. I love seeing you and your family is the sunny parts of the world. Best wishes,
    Judy Berdy
