On August 25, six Statendam crew members went on a Glacier Adventure by Helicopter excursion for an experience lifetime in Juneau, Alaska. At first we hiked around this new world and then we harnessed up and climbed up an ice cliff edge. We were very fortunate because it had been raining for several days prior to our arrival, but upon our arrival the sun came out and we were able to have some fun. The wonder of our planet makes us that much more committed to protecting it.
