Prinsendam’s Grand Themed Dinners
We’ve had quite a few special themed evenings aboard the Prinsendam during the ship’s Grand Mediterranean & Black Sea Voyage. When we were in Italy we visited Venice, Sicily, Sorento and Civitavecchia (Rome), and held a special Italian themed evening in the Lido and the dining room. After that we visited Saint Raphael, France, and we held a French themed dinner. When we visited Tangier, Morocco, we held a Moroccan themed dinner.
During the Dutch Queen’s birthday we celebrated with a Dutch themed event. Crew and guests wore traditional clothing from the various countries to match the themes. Delicious traditional foods from the respective countries, prepared by our chef and kitchen brigade, was featured on the menu during each themed event. Hope you all enjoy!
Komang Sumartha is Prinsendam’s dining room manager.
Greetings,
My wife and I partook in the GV Mediterranean- Black Sea Cruise and seeing some of the photos posted here brought back very pleasant memories. In particular we enjoyed the Dining Room Staff, some of them seen here, I.e. Kamong, Rahmat, Hakim and Bayu. It was a pleasure to have met them, Our table: 141, First Sitting.
We are looking forward to our next cruise on the MV Prinsendam beginning with her Holiday Cruise and continuing with the South America/Antarctica Grand Voyage.
