HAL employee Gerad Simon and girlfriend Jayme sent us this note and amazing photos from their recent southern Caribbean cruise aboard Noordam.

My girlfriend Jayme and I just got back from a 10–day cruise to the Caribbean on the Noordam. We swam in the crystal clear waters of Half Moon Cay and explored Water Island near St. Thomas. We visited the rainforest of Dominica and swam under a tropical waterfall. We browsed the colorful shops of Willemstad, Curacao and relaxed on the beaches of Aruba. We enjoyed the trip thoroughly and came home with almost 300 photos, of which we ended up keeping 146.

We were spoiled with a private verandah room that looked off the back of the boat. The food and service on board was top notch as expected. I highly recommend the new Canaletto Italian restaurant which we ended up visiting three or four times over the course of our cruise.
