Moorea Island is the jewel of the South Pacific among the French Polynesian Islands. The climate, although very hot, was dry with a clear blue sky reflecting the multi colors of the crystal clear sea water surrounding the island. I walked for 15 minutes from Cook’s Bay to the Moorea Pearl Resort along the coast line, where all public and private beaches are on the left and the green mountains on the right. It really gives a spectacular view along the walk.

Stopping at a beautiful Moorea Pearl Resort is worth the visit. It is one of the splendid resorts to spend your vacation enjoying and relaxing in the luxury bungalows laid over the crystal blue ocean. The coral formation underneath the bungalow is the perfect place to enjoy snorkling just at your doorstep. Water-sport facilities, spa and excursions are offered at this resort. Because of the short walking distance from Cook’s Bay, where the ship’s tender is dropped, many crew members and guests spent their day relaxing at this resort.
