Members of Association De Lijn Gather Aboard Eurodam For Luncheon

In 2005 a group of retired Holland America Line employees started Association De Lijn (Dutch for “the line”), which promotes contact between retired, former and current Holland America Line employees. Today the North American chapter of Association De Lijn has more than 300 members.

In June, several members came together onboard Eurodam for lunch in Seattle. The gatherings are a fantastic time to catch up with former colleagues, make new friends and revisit Holland America Line memories.

Did anyone know Norman Cox who used to work on the Amsterdam?

    Hello,
    I just found this site.

Yes! Norman Cox was my Dad’s (John Skvarla) boss for many years. I have fond memories of him and his wife Eloyse!
“Mr. Cox” and my Dad commuted to pier 40 with Allistair McDonald.
