Mariners ‘Get Well Tour’ Visits Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital
For the past three years, Holland America Line has been a significant supporter of both the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Children’s. Part of the relationship includes presenting the Mariners “Get Well Tour” where Mariners players and the Mariner Moose visit children and veterans in Northwest hospitals.
Recently the Mariners Care Get Well Tour visited Tacoma’s Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital where Hisashi Iwakuma, Brandon Maurer and the Mariner Moose spent time with kids. Holland America Line’s Manager of Corporate Giving Pamela Baade was there to support the cause as well.
In addition to presenting the Get Well Tour, Holland America Line announced their new “K’s for Kids” donation program with the Seattle Mariners May 29. For every strike out recorded by a Mariners pitcher at Safeco Field through the end of the 2014 season, Holland America Line will make a donation to Seattle Children’s Uncompensated Care Fund, with a total commitment of $25,000.
Holland America Line also is the official sponsor of the suite deck at Safeco Field and they donate cruises for raffle prizes at the annual Mariners Fan Appreciation Night.
