Marco’s Moments: Exploring the Beauty of Seville
Since the Nieuw Amsterdam spent two full days in Cadiz, Spain, I decided to do the Stunning Seville tour. I have never been to Seville before so I was in for a treat! We started the tour at the Alcazar, the Royal Palace, an incredible example of the detailed architecture of those days, originally used as a Moorish fort in the 14th century. After our visit to the Royal Palace we walked through the narrow cobble-stoned streets in the center and then we visited the Cathedral. Both the outside and the inside of the Cathedral are incredible to see. After our visit we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Hotel Macarena and later that afternoon we visited the Spanish Square, another marvel of historic architecture, before making our way back to the ship in Cadiz. Overall Seville is an amazing city full of history and marvelous buildings to be admired. The architecture around the city is beautiful and the gorgeous weather just made the entire day a perfect day! Enjoy the images I took along the way.

You are amazing i love your pictures.
Do you ever put together a digital slide program of your photos and show them to the passengers onboard? Your photographs are so good that it would be an excellent program for the daily schedule. I am sure that lots of people would come to see your fantastic images.
Thank you for your kind comments. I actually just started to do a lecture on photography, where I use my own images and am planning to continue to do this on my next assignment on the Eurodam.
