Dining Room Steward Agung Joko Waskito, and Muslim Secretary for Noordam reported on a recent celebration by the Muslim community on board.

To mark the end of Ramadan, a three-day celebration called Idul Fitri (Festival of Fast Breaking) is held. The three-day celebration began on the day of Eid, when Muslims in the crew gathered early in the morning in the Crow’s Nest to perform the Eid prayer.

The day after, the onboard Muslim community invited all crew and officers to join the Idul Fitri Dinner in the crew mess to share forgiveness and well wishes for the holiday.
