Holland America Line Featured on Four Ocean Original TV Series Created by Carnival Corporation

Since 2016, Carnival Corporation has been producing three original TV series that air on ABC and NBC in the U.S. every Saturday morning, and earlier this year, premiered a Spanish-language show on Univision. Representing a first in the cruise industry, this innovative approach is building on the company’s strategy to highlight why traveling by ocean to experience global destinations has become one of the best ways to see and learn about the world. The series use compelling and authentic storytelling to share the powerful way travel by sea connects people, places and cultures around the world.

The content is designed to engage viewers by showcasing exciting adventures, exotic cultures and popular global destinations. “Ocean Treks with Jeff Corwin”, “The Voyager with Josh Garcia” and “Vacation Creation with Tommy Davidson and Andrea Feczko” are 30-minute episodes, while “La Gran Sorpresa” runs an hour. Ships from all nine of the company’s cruise line brands serve as the platform for engaging and emotional experiences, and Holland America Line has been featured across all four shows.

“LA GRAN SORPRESA”

“La Gran Sorpresa” (The Great Surprise) uses the power of travel to reunite families as they overcome hardships created by illness, separation and other challenges. The one-hour program is hosted by award-winning television personality Poncho de Anda.
