Holland America Line’s Signature Experiences are specially curated pre- and post-cruise encounters currently available on select 2018 itineraries in Canada/New England, Europe, South America and now… Australia & New Zealand and Asia.
These unique experiences are available on select Australia, New Zealand and Asia itineraries prior to departure and include two-night hotel accommodations and complimentary transfers.
SYDNEY:
Dinner & Recital at the Opera House
The iconic Sydney Opera House.
Before embarking in Sydney guests will be able to experience a memorable evening of fine dining and live classical music in the Utzon Room of Sydney’s iconic Opera House. While guests enjoy delicious dinner and drinks, they’ll be joined by two gifted opera singers who will entertain guests with operatic arias and duets, as well as popular favorites. At the end of the magical evening, guests will return to the hotel, a 10-minute walk from the venue.
AUCKLAND:
Auckland Museum with Maori Welcome

Guests will be able to immerse themselves in Maori culture during an exclusive after-hours event at the Auckland Museum prior to embarking their ship in Auckland. Cruisers will be able to experience a traditional Maori welcome, including a version of the iconic haka, the Maori vigorous war dance. After a brief tour of the museum, which focuses on the history of Auckland and New Zealand, enjoy refreshments in the museum’s stunning foyer. The Maori group will be on hand, offering guests the perfect photo op and a chance to learn more about Maori history and culture.

An Evening at the National Gallery Singapore

Before embarking on a cruise through Asia from Singapore, guests will be privileged to a “behind the velvet rope” evening at the National Gallery Singapore, with a private tour of the museum’s impressive collection of Southeast Asian art. In a grand, glass-enclosed space, guests will enjoy drinks and appetizers while watching a traditional lion dance performance. They will also be able to see a snake charmer, henna artist, master Chinese calligrapher and palm reader work their magic.

A Taste of Hong Kong — Dai Pai Dong Experience

On MS Westerdam leaving 27 Nov. Booked for Singapore experience. For planning purposes (and packing) – what is the recommended attire?
We enjoyed our Signature Experience in Singapore in 2018. We’re going to Asia in March 2022 onboard the Noordam. At what point will HAL announce their Signature Experiences for 2022? Or has that program been discontinued? I ask because I can’t seem to find anything recent on this blog, the net, or the HAL website.
