Explorer’s Scrapbook: Puerto Limon
Welcome to the jungle! Myself and Alina Faustman, Youth Staff, were fortunate enough to enjoy the “Jungle Kayaking Adventure” in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. We were surrounded by the rich flora and fauna, birds, howler monkeys and a sloth! The colors are so vibrant and the sounds of the jungle … AMAZING!

Hi Diana:My companion and I are not very good at walking (she is 84 and I am 90) so am wondering
what kind of wheelchair service does HA provide—if any. If we are in the aft of the ship we can usually
get to the Ledo for lunch and breakfast OK but when the dining room is at the other end–that is where we need help–also if the entertainment is on the far end. We are hoping to take a 30 to 45 day cruise next
Feb. My companion, Nelda Williams, is a 3 star Mariner and I am a 4 star Mariner—if that means anything. Thanks for any information you might provide us.
Hi Mr. Holliston,
The GRM here assisted me with the answer to your question. We have wheelchairs for rent on board. Sometimes ,upon request and if available, we can ask a cabin steward to assist you. This is an extra service however, not guaranteed especially if the stewards are busy.
It also would be beneficial for you to book a cabin mid-ship and to take a look at the size of the ship you are planning on sailing on. Hope this helps!
