Early Mother’s Day Surprise

I was vacationing on the Eurodam, and my parents are currently on the Rotterdam. We found out that we would be in port together in Rome, but my parents had already booked a full day shore excursion, as they wanted time to see the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, which my dad had not seen before.

I would be disembarking the Eurodam in Civitavecchia that same day (today, Friday, May 11th) and thought it may be the perfect opportunity for a surprise for Mother’s Day. I worked with the Rotterdam’s Shorex team and our local tour operator in Rome, Inter Trav Corporation Italia, to create the surprise. As they were on their full day tour, I showed up at their lunch spot and really shocked my parents. I think this may have been the best Mother’s Day surprise yet…
