Cruise Diary: Wedding at Sea
Nancy Moen and Chuck Velte exchanged vows on board Oosterdam March 7. Nancy will continue to update us on their wedding at sea and festivities throughout their voyage.
Evenings at sea end with a view of the setting sun that rivals a Henri Matisse painting. Chuck and I enjoyed the daily show of color from the verandah of our cabin on the ms Oosterdam, which our capable and congenial captain referred to so eloquently as our beautiful Oosterdam and he’s right. The ship is magnificent. At Cabo San Lucas, she waits for passengers to explore the final port city of our cruise. Note there’s no pier. All of us going ashore rode sturdy orange tenders to the docks, offering us yet another view of the gorgeous geological treasures guarding this sun-drenched heaven. — Nancy Moen
