Mazatlan, Mexico

This day Zaandam was moored in Mazatlan.

We decided to take the trolley bus outside the terminal which offers a three-hour highlight trip. We stopped at a balcony of a restaurant on top of a hill where we had a beautiful view of Mazatlan and our cruise ship.

On this hill is the highest lighthouse in the world.

The next stop was the cliff divers. It’s spectacular how these guys dive from the cliff into water with a rocky sea bottom.

Then we drove to the Cathedral where we went inside.

Back on the ship we had dinner in The Pinnacle Grill and visited the late night dessert extravaganza.

We took a picture of the assistant chef and a waiter.

Then we ended up our day in The Crow’s Nest for a very late (morning) drink because the time went forward one hour.
