Cruise Diary: Castles of North Zealand in Denmark
Up and out early in Copenhagen on the first day of exploring. We had a quick bite and then left Eurodam with about 40 other guests on the Castles of North Zealand tour. We were taken back in time 400 to 500 years ago to a few of the famous castles of Denmark. The first castle was Frederiksborg. It is a very distinguished and royal castle with hundreds of years of history and stories. The moat that surrounds the fortress was a sight to be seen. The second was the Kronborg Castle which boasted some very serious age as well as a complete arsenal to protect the walls in the old days. It was a great day for all to explore! Stay tuned for more. — Phil
