Aboard Eurodam

While docking the ship today at pier 4 West in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I noticed that Eurodam does not have its own docking marker. Since the Zuiderdam does not call at San Juan anymore since we picked up her itinerary, our Chief Officer Bas dispatched Bosun Alex and a sailor to give it a shiny EURODAM coat of paint. Here are some before and after pictures.

I also noticed that the Zaandam dock marker that was placed during Zaandam’s debut when I was on board as chief officer is still there after nine years.
