This week the Zuiderdam had a special guest on board. Beertje van Beers, who used to be a well-known model and TV presenter in Holland, was sailing on board from Acapulco, Mexico to Santa Marta, Columbia, to write a story for the Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf.”

For Beertje, it was her first time ever on a cruise ship and she loved every minute of the week and the pampering on board, experiencing the Signature of Excellence we are famous for. She was invited to the captain’s table, visited the bridge during the Panama Canal transit and had many more memorable experiences. She mentioned when she left that she cannot wait to come on a cruise with her family. Her article will be published in “De Telegraaf” on Sunday, October 18, so tell your family and friends to keep an eye out for it!
