World Art Day is April 15, the birthday of Leonardo Da Vinci, and there’s no better day to celebrate Holland America Line’s partnership with Rijksmuseum — the most-visited national museum in the Netherlands. Through the collaboration, “Rijksmuseum at Sea” was installed on Westerdam and features reproductions of some of the museum’s most famous masterpieces in a dedicated space, and guests are invited to explore their own creativity through guided art workshops.

Beyond the onboard partnership, guests can experience the grandeur of the museum in person on Holland America Line’s pre-cruise Signature Experience in Amsterdam: “Amsterdam: An Evening at the Rijksmuseum.” Each Signature Experience is a Holland America Line exclusive and includes immersive cultural tours, entertainment, luxurious two-night hotel accommodations and complimentary transfers from the airport to the hotel and to the ship.

Imagine skipping the crowds entirely and relishing one of the world’s most renowned art museums with a small, exclusive group of art lovers! This exclusive Signature Experience is offered on Koningsdam’s itineraries that depart from Amsterdam in May, June, August and September this summer. The cruises head north to Norway, the Baltic, British Isles and Iceland on some of Holland America Line’s most popular itineraries.
