I took these shots of a welcome ceremony to mark the occasion of the Volendam’s visit to Nagasaki, Japan. Gifts of flowers, kites and sake were presented to Captain Arno Juten, Hotel Director Rene Tuinman and Cruise Director Dan Bernback. A local dance group then presented a series of traditional dances, at one point getting the guests to join in.
