Holland America Line received a fantastic response from the Transatlantic Crossing Story contest and we thank all 434 submitters! Choosing the final winner was not an easy task. There were many touching stories, poems, funny excerpts and journals of personal adventures with HAL. After much deliberation by the review committee and Holland America’s President and CEO, the story that wins the grand prize for one cabin for two on the July 12, 2011 Classic Transatlantic Crossing voyage is Maria Henderson.
