Completing Online Check-in is the first step to making your Express Docs available for you to print. Once you’ve completed Online Check-in, made your final payment and are within 50 days of departure, your Express Docs will be available for you to print.

Start online check-in early
Important information about Ebola
For your convenience, and to expedite your departure, we encourage you to start the process as soon as possible. During online check-in, you can securely submit your Immigration, Disembarkation and credit card registration forms. In order to have the most accurate information available onboard your ship, please complete the online check-in process at least 30 days prior to your departure.
Don’t worry if you begin the process and cannot finish for whatever reason; you may easily return to complete it at a later time.
Once you check-in online, you'll receive the following benefits:
- Signature Preferred Boarding Pass: your boarding pass is the first page of your Express Docs. For speedy embarkation, simply print your pass and bring to the pier.
For embarkation, remember to bring the following items:
- Your Signature Preferred Boarding Pass
- Appropriate identification and passport
- Visa and immunization information, if required for your itinerary
- Express Docs

Please be aware that Holland America Line cannot print, email or fax guest's Signature Preferred Boarding Pass.
New U.S. government security regulations require us to submit certain guest information to law enforcement authorities at least 60 minutes prior to departure. To meet this requirement, we must have the necessary information in our records at least 90 minutes before departure. If we do not have your information by this deadline, you will be unable to sail. Guests are encouraged to complete the Online Check-in process before leaving home. Guests who wait to check in at the terminal risk being unable to sail even if they arrive at the terminal before the vessel leaves. You will be responsible for all costs you incur to join the vessel at the next port.

- Full legal name (as appears on your booking/reservation)
- Birth date
- Passport, visa or permanent resident card
- Home address
- Home telephone number
- Emergency contact information
- Return flight information
- Credit card you wish to use for onboard purchases
