Paulette Mitchell, the author of 13 cookbooks, is known internationally for her quick-to-prepare recipes with gourmet flair. Her most recently published book is The Complete 15-Minute Gourmet: Creative Cuisine Made Fast and Fresh, which features 350 delicious dishes from around the world.
Paulette is the author of A Beautiful Bowl of Soup and The Spirited Vegetarian, the first vegetarian cookbook incorporating wine or spirits in every recipe. This publication was awarded “Best Book in the World on Cooking with Wine” at the 2005 Gourmand World Media Awards. Paulette’s 15-Minute Gourmet cookbook series, including Chicken, Vegetarian, and Noodles, was awarded “Best Cookbook Series” at the same event in 2000. Distribution of Paulette’s books is worldwide.
Paulette is also a producer of travel and culinary videos. Her subjects include Food Markets of the World and enducational videos about ethnic cuisines. As a food writer, she contributes to numerous websites and food publications, including Cooking Light Magazine.
Paulette is a media spokesperson, frequently shares her recipes and cooking tips on television shows, and is also a culinary instructor. She regularly offers programs on vegetarian cooking and spa cuisine at the well-known Rancho La Puerta Health Spa in Tecate, Mexico. Paulette is a popular guest chef/lecturer on cruise ships around the world, where she presents her Signature Menus and conducts cooking demonstrations and classes featuring cuisines of the ports and recipes from her cookbooks. She also offers a slideshow program on colorful food markets around the world.
Paulette entertains and educates her audience by sharing culinary tips and kitchen wisdom acquired over the years and through her international travels, which she says are her greatest source of inspiration.
