George Geary is an award-winning author of nine cook books ranging from baking to sauces to how to create the perfect donut. Previously Chef Geary worked in the film and TV industry creating many of the foods seen on television shows and in print media. Foods such as the cheesecake dishes shared on the Golden Girls to print media for large department stores, including Macys and Bloomingdales.

Besides sharing his culinary talent onboard the Holland America Line ships, Chef Geary also owns a tour company where he conducts culinary tours of major cities in America and abroad. Recently Mr. Geary was awarded the 2013 Culinary Tour Guide of the Year, and in 2009 Frommers Guides named him the best Domestic Culinary Tour Guide and European Tour Guide. When George is not traveling onboard the ships you can see him on American news casts teaching food segments throughout the US.
