Chef George Geary is an award-winning author of nine cook books ranging from baking to sauces to how to create the perfect donut. Previously Geary worked in the film and TV industry creating many of the foods seen on television shows such as The Golden Girls, and in print media for large department stores including Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s.

Besides sharing his culinary talent onboard the Holland America Line ships, Geary also owns a tour company where he conducts culinary tours of major cities in America and abroad. Recently, Geary was awarded the 2013 Culinary Tour Guide of the Year. In 2009, Frommer’s named him Best Domestic Culinary Tour Guide and Best European Tour Guide. When Geary is not traveling onboard the ships, you can find him on American news casts or teaching food segments throughout the U.S.
