Cruise to Hong Kong
You feel the buzz of South Asia's legendary financial generator the moment you arrive. Immersing yourself in Hong Kong life takes only seconds as the pulse of the island city-state beats so quickly and never sleeps. The deep-water harbor, the high rise corporate headquarters glowing at night in neon and LED light displays, zillions of restaurants, old world markets, unbelievable shopping — have you rested yet? Only a few of Aberdeen's old world junks and sampans remain, but you can still rise above it all on the tram ride to the top of Victoria Peak. Where else can ancient herbal remedies mix with designer fashions, Buddhist monks, and modern international businessmen?
Extend your Hong Kong vacation before or after your cruise and explore this city more comprehensively. To learn more about hotel packages for pre- or post cruise, please contact your travel professional or Holland America Line.

Cruise to Saipan
For a capital island of the 14 Northern Marianas, this South Pacific gem measures a scant five miles by 12. Even so, expect no less than a bounty of rewards from what this hidden paradise has in store. Saipan lies near the famed Mariana Trench, now a national monument and magnet for reef divers internationally. Discover a community spirit receptive to travelers and a relaxing lifestyle that's contagious, whether you lay low on a beach or break for shopping. Try excellent local cuisine that creatively reflects myriad historical traditions and ethnicities.

Cruise to Xingang (Beijing)
Beijing is ancient, older almost than imagining. The first human habitations date back some 700 millennia, to the very dawn of the human species. 24 emperors called it home. Today, it is the center of culture, education and politics in China. It is a leading city of the world. And it is a hive of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are places in and around the city so potent they've become touch points of our global psyche: Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and since the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium (aka the "Bird's Nest"). Everywhere cruise visitors go they touch history.
Cruise to Barcelona
Explore Barcelona: Our Destination Guides, in partnership with AFAR, offer guests the most distinctive and insightful guides to our ports of call, along with personalization tools to help you plan your perfect journey.
Barcelona effuses the ancient, the modernist, and the Gaudi. Legend has it the city was founded by Hercules 400 years before the founding of Rome. Whatever the truth, the city today is a global capital of commerce, fashion, culture, and sunshine (the city gets about 300 days of it a year). Cruise visitors should start with a walk down Las Ramblas, the glorious tree-shaded thoroughfare at the heart of the city. Claim a patch of sand on one of the city beaches. But, most of all, see what visionary architect Antoni Gaudi wrought. Seven of his creations have been honored as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including La Sagrada Familia, the Park Guell, and Casa Mila.
Cruise to Aqaba
Ages ago, the Nabateans of Southern Jordan carved a magnificent city out of sheer limestone cliffs amidst breathtaking terrain resembling Utah's famed national parks. Petra, a magnificent city of rock once at the crossroads of overland trade, attracts most of the visitors coming to the port in Aqaba because nothing in the entire world compares. Even the entrance, a path though a slot canyon called the Siq, stirs the imagination. Behold the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater, the Monastery — and especially al Khazneh ("The Treasury"), a monumental Greek-influenced edifice that emerges from the cliff.
Not far from Petra, Hollywood took advantage of the endless vistas to film Lawrence of Arabia.

Cruise to Colombo
Resembling a sublime pearl hanging just south of the Indian Subcontinent, Sri Lanka's attractions include ancient cultures, enchanting natural parks, welcoming people, and must-see wildlife. Sri Lanka boasts no less than eight UNESCO World Heritage sites; you expect to find plenty of temples hand crafted by artisans through time. Look for resident leopards, water buffaloes, birds, and assorted primates if you decide to photo-safari on tour in search of wildlife. Travelers also head higher above sea level to discover green tea plantations and cloud forests in the hills. Of course, world-class beaches are always close — perfect for relaxing, strolling, surfing, or diving.
Cruise to Singapore
It's an island city-state, a World War II battleground, a global economic superstar, and a crossroads of the world. Cruise to Singapore with Holland America Line and in the space of a few hours you can relax in a Chinese teahouse, purchase a colorful sari in Little India and visit the gold-domed Sultan Mosque.

Cruise to Mumbai (Bombay)
Start with either of two Mumbais. First is the ancient religious India you see at Elephanta Island. Lying about 6 miles south of Mumbai, the hilly island contains a network of caves that Hindu and Buddhist artisans have sculpted over the last 1,500 years into monuments to their faiths. Second is the British colonial India manifest in the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus. The railway station is the busiest in India and its architecture a mixture of high Victorian gothic and Indian palace. Both the caves and the railway are UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the city itself is merely the pulsing economic and cultural dynamo of the world's most populous country. Cruise visitors can start anywhere – perhaps with a delicious bhelpuri and a walk along Marine Drive – then jump in.

CPP Standard Plan – Provided by Holland America Line
Our Standard Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP Standard Plan) will allow you, for any reason, to provide written cancellation up to 24 hours prior to the start of your scheduled travel (sea, land and/or air) arrangements made by Holland America Line and receive a refund equal to 80% of the eligible amounts paid. CPP Standard is available to all guests, regardless of residency.
In addition, Holland America Line (HAL) automatically assumes an additional $500 (USD) of liability for lost, damaged or delayed baggage of guests who purchase the CPP Standard Plan still subject, however, to the limitations in our baggage policies. For example, we do not cover losses while baggage is in the custody of airlines. Please review our Baggage Policy.
Please note: The CPP Standard Plan is not insurance – this is an optional purchase offered by and administered by Holland America Line. It may be added to your reservation to provide you with trip cancellation protection for up to 24 hours prior to the start of your scheduled travel. It provides no rights other than those explained above. For example, it does not protect double-triple-quad occupancy rates should one or more members of your party cancel, nor does it cover expenses for unused services due to trip interruption.
The CPP Standard Plan is available for purchase prior to the date on which cancellation fees begin to accrue. Payment is due at time of purchase. The cost of CPP Standard is non-refundable. The per person, per cruise cost is listed with the cruise fares. To add our Cancellation Protection Standard Plan to your new or existing bookings, please call us at 1‐877‐932‐4259.
Our Platinum Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP Platinum) enables you to supplement the benefits provided under the CPP Standard Plan with higher cancellation reimbursement and extends the eligible cancellation period up until the start of your scheduled travel (sea, land and/or air) arrangements made by Holland America Line. CPP Platinum also provides insurance coverage for trip delays and interruptions, medical expenses and much more. In addition, CPP Platinum includes 24-hour worldwide emergency assistance services.
CPP Platinum is comprised of the following:
