Glass-Bottom Boat to Turtle Cove: Swim & Snorkel
This three-hour boat cruise covers the entire western half of the island and offers you a chance to learn Bermuda's interesting historical facts and urban legends.
Discover Bermuda's unique architecture and see where the rich and famous live. You may even solve the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.
Aboard the boat, you’ll cruise to the Sea Gardens, passing through the natural habitat of Atlantic green turtles. Join your Bermudian host to look through the boat's glass bottom, as he explains the amazing underwater view of coral reefs growing on a 19th-century shipwreck -- now home to the turtles, enormous groupers, and thousands of fish species that are so tame they surface to participate in a feeding frenzy.
At Turtle Cove, jump in for a swim and snorkel adventure in waist-deep water. The sea garden here is full of exquisite marine life -- you can even touch certain species. Those who prefer not to snorkel can rest on the beautiful beach where you can relax or swim.
On the scenic ride back, enjoy a rum swizzle or refreshing soft drink.
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Guests with heart problems, epilepsy, diabetes, back and heart problems, or asthma are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Maximum weight is 350 lbs. Participants must be in good physical condition and be comfortable swimming in water too deep to stand up.
