Discover Scuba Diving
Learn to dive and discover the beauty of Aruba’s underwater world under the guidance of a professional instructor.
Your beginners’ scuba course includes a one-hour pool session and a one-tank boat dive. All scuba equipment and instruction are included.
A pool session teaches you the basic rules for scuba diving, such as dealing with pressure, breathing through a regulator and how to use the equipment.
The dive boat takes you to a shallow wreck, the Pedernalis. The Pedernalis was an oil tanker torpedoed by a German submarine during World War II. The wreck’s several large pieces are spread out between coral formations; making visible the cabins complete with sinks and other fittings, as well as the tanker’s pipeline system. The area around the Pedernalis wreck is known for its many types of groupers and its bounty of angelfish.
This dive has a maximum depth of 25 feet for about 35 minutes.
An instructor will accompany the class underwater at all times.
Wear your swimsuit; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. A physician’s letter may be required in case of medical issues.
