Board your motor coach and travel along Avenue Costera Miguel Aleman, passing by hotels, restaurants, banks, bars and shopping districts en route to the Scenic Highway. After a short stop for panoramic views, continue through the Las Brisas residential area to the Diamond Zone, passing by Puerto Marques Bay and the Black Lagoon where the first Tarzan movie was filmed. Next, you will head along the Costera Palmas and past the Acapulco Princess Hotel, which resembles an Aztec pyramid, and the Mayan Palace hotel. These are arguably the most beautiful properties in Acapulco. At the peaceful Elcano Diamante, baby turtles are waiting for you to release them into the ocean. Marine turtles are an endangered species, and scientists estimate that for every 1,000 born, only one will reach the adult stage. Get ready to release your turtle into the sea; liberate the rest of the nest and watch as they start their new life in the wild. You will be helping the conservation of the sea turtles—a truly unique experience. Take time to appreciate their subtle natural behaviors and the beauty and grace of the magnificent sea turtle. Mexican snacks and one beer per person are included.
