Leave the ship and Valparaíso to head into the Casablanca Valley. This is the youngest viticulture area in Chile and it boasts the perfect trilogy—climate, soil and vines. Your first stop will be at Viñedos Veramonte for a tour and wine tasting. Then, drive through the valley, with a stop at one of the best wineries in Chile—Estancia El Cuadro. Here you will find the Casablanca Valley’s most complete and entertaining eno-touristic experience, offering a unique glimpse into the history and traditions of Chilean wine culture. During welcome drinks, enjoy a folkloric music performance. You will continue tasting wines during a leisurely buffet lunch. Then, your excursion continues to Santiago for a scenic drive through Chile’s capital to the beautiful handicraft village of El Pueblo de Los Dominicos in the Las Condes district. Visit the handicraft shops to see artisans working in copper, wool, ceramics, lapis lazuli and other indigenous materials. Enjoy a stroll and some shopping at the market before transferring to a downtown hotel or to Santiago Airport in time for your flight.
