Drive first through the beautiful Dutch landscape to Delft—an age-old city best known for its famous blue pottery. See the Weighing Houses, historical buildings and canals that typify many Dutch cities, and stop at Porceleijne Fles pottery, where a copy of Rembrandt’s Night Watch has been made in Delft Blue tiles. See the process of pottery-making and the results in the workshop and exposition room. At Scheveningen, a seaside resort, a traditional lunch will be served; then, you’ll travel to Madurodam—a fascinating model depiction of Holland in miniature. Continue to the Hague—the capital of the Netherlands and the city where Queen Beatrix resides. A panoramic city tour will take you past the old and new Parliament buildings as well as the Royal Palace and the Peace Palace.
