Share your memories with family and friends by capturing with your camera the most photographed places in Halifax and the surrounding area. This guided photography tour will give you insight into the Halifax and Peggy’s Cove areas. Make the most of your time in the city by seeing the most visited sites. Your first photo stop is Point Pleasant Park, which boasts 186 acres of beautifully forested parkland and was home to the 18th century Martello Tower, several artillery batteries, a beautiful fountain and several miles of walking trails. Stroll through the oldest Victorian Gardens – The Halifax Public Gardens –snapping shots of the extensive flower beds, fountains, stone bridges, and an ornate bandstand. Continue on to Citadel Hill, a majestic fortress overlooking the Downtown area with magnificent harbour views. Next, depart the city for a breathtaking coastal drive to the fishing community of Peggy’s Cove, where you can capture images of waves crashing along the granite shores with the most famous lighthouse as a backdrop. En route back to the pier we will make our final stop at The Titanic Gravesites, the final resting place of 121 victims laid out in the shape of a ship’s hull. Don't forget your camera!
